Champion’s Real Madrid vs Not-Champion’s Ajax

23.11.10

Real Madrid 4-0 Ajax
Goal Scorers: Alvaro Arbeloa, Kareem Benzema, ‘Tiano Ronaldo [2]
They look so united, don’t they? They wear the kits very well too, even their candy colored boots match somehow. After all, not everyone can look good in purple. You need the right skin tone, the height, the shoulders, the attitude….
Jose Mourinho said: I am very happy because we have won our group and that was the objective going into tonight’s game.”
Ring a ring a rosy…. The perfect match.
Benzema scored a stunning goal through Ozil’s magnificent mid-air pass, it was a swoop of power. Ozil, along with Cris, was named man of the match, commentators citing him to be Madrid’s secret weapon and the new Zidane. Read the match summary on the Champion’s League websiteIt’s all Ozil, Ozil, Ozil!
                                 Star: Mesut Özil   rating: 7.5

You rock bro! or I think you have something in your eye?
Mou said: At this time Karim [Benzema] is playing really well; he’s happy and there is little he needs to do to improve. He was one of the reasons we were able to play at such a high level tonight. It offers massive security being able to depend on such a great squad. The English seems a bit odd, no?
Fighting gravity? Come closer starry ball, I want to kiss you…
The Portuguese player was prolific, scoring two goals and playing a pivotal role. How many goals does he have altogether now, this season? Over twenty? People should stop bothering him, his proven that he is the best. I can’t wait for the Classico, man, just so all these comparisons can end, so that we can find out who deserves the accolade, who really is the Ultimate Footballer…
 All hail me!
And then…
And Xabi & Sergio both got red cards, for time wasting. They say it’s because they wanted a clean slate for the knock out stages, tricks. Smh. It wasn’t such a bad thing. Xabi is still alright, he won’t get into trouble, but Ramos! It was good he was flashed that red actually, now. We don’t want to miss him, when we need him, no?
Mourinho said: “I don’t think it was necessary to get those red cards because we were in control,”  “But this is a fantastic result and that’s the only thing that matters.” [via AP]
Side note:
I vomited last night, but I feel fine now.

Finally, the Maestro…

Anyway, Madrid, I think you’ve just won over the world with last night’s performance. Some love you, some fear you, but now, everybody without a doubt, Respects You. You are now true Galacticos.

See ya!
