Japanvs Cameroon

14/6/10

Japan 1-0 Cameroon

Goal Scorer: Honda

A lackluster Cameroon team, looking decidedly unmotivated, drawled through the game, letting the Japanese get away with a goal. Firstly, the Cameroonians are like great looming giants over those tiny short Japanese and secondly, the Japanese were getting fouled by them. I don't think it was easy for the Samurai to look the indomitable lions in the eye, and then go ahead and beat them.

Et'o, one of the world's international soccer stars, was played out of position, and the rest of the team ran sluggishly around, as if they had did not want to play soccer. When I watched the match, I found the Cameroonians, who I thought who put on a show for all their eager African supporters, dragging themselves through it, as if throwing the match away. Japan took the opportunity and Honda soon scored a goal through a dispirited Cameroon defense, and thus was the match won. Well done to Japan!
